PropHero exceeds revenue targets and expands into its third market

  • PropHero’s vision is to create a one-stop shop for property investors to buy, manage and track their property portfolio over time.

  • Since Jelix Fund 1's first investment in December 2021, PropHero’s revenue has soared. In March 2024, the team hit their revenue target 12 months ahead of plan. PropHero is now achieving annualised revenue of over $20M AUD (as of June 2024), representing a 50x revenue uplift since Jelix's first investment.


  • Since launching in 2021, PropHero has quickly expanded into Australia, Spain and Indonesia and offers a marketplace of services for property investors to purchase and manage their property portfolio.


The one-stop-shop for property investors

PropHero is an AI-powered digital buyers agent that delivers property returns while fast tracking the time and hassle of the investment process. Founded by Mickael Roger and Pablo Gil Brusola, PropHero's ai engine pulls 40 million data points and processes 240 variables to screen 18,000 Australian suburbs for properties with a buyer’s preferred risk and return characteristics. The platform identifies investment properties most perfectly matched to a buyer’s preferences and budget.

PropHero’s ai data driven approach has enabled an impressive competitive edge for investors. In 2022, PropHero global properties outperformed the market by 170%. In Australia, PropHero properties grew in value by 13% compared to the market average of -4%, proving its analytical value in a depressed property market cycle driven by high interest rates.

Jelix Ventures first met founders Mickael and Pablo in 2021. This ex-McKinsey and software engineer partnership appeared hungry, energetic and highly capable. Since then, they proven their ability to execute incredible well. 

Jelix Fund 1 first invested $300,000 AUD in PropHero’s pre-seed round in Dec 2021. Then in July 2022, off the back of annualised revenue growing 7x in just 6 months, Jelix invested a further $500,000 AUD into PropHero. In December 2023, Jelix Fund 1 made its third investment of $1.8m. 

The latest funding will enable the team to supercharge growth by launching new markets, create new marketplace integrations and increase transactions within existing markets. 


The results so far

In June 2024, PropHero exceeded $20 million in annualised revenue. These figures result in the team reaching their revenue milestones well ahead of projections! Since Jelix's first pre-seed stage investment in December 2021, annualised revenue has grown by 50x.

The team has demonstrated its ability to execute in new markets through its expansion throughout Australia, followed by Spain and then Indonesia. The Spanish market, which was launched in early 2023, has seen explosive growth and gross monthly revenue is now accounting for 5x Australia in a few short months. The team remains lean, with a focus on investment into key product and sales function specialties. 

The team is now focused on the next 5 markets and introducing new fintech verticals into their offering to create a holistic investment property management platform.
